Review: Biotherm Celluli Night Patch
What They Say: "An overnight body treatment patch that provides concentrated action on stubborn zones to help smooth and tone skin for a full 8 hours while you sleep. With regular use, the caffeine and ginkgo-enriched formula visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite and dimpled skin for a smoother, firmer appearance. For best results, use 2 to 3 times per week in combination with Biotherm Celluli-Peel gel during the day."
Jen's Experience: I went into testing this with some skepticism. After all, how many magazine articles have I read that proclaim there's no way to reduce cellulite outside of the a doctor's office (or medi-spa)? Well, I do have some areas that could use some -- um -- attention on the backside of my legs. And after my first use of this, I have to say I was pretty excited about the results. When I first pulled off the patches, there was definitely a reduction in the appearance of the cellulite. However, by the time I came home, the area, while still nicely moisturized had lost the firmness. After the 2nd and 3rd treatment, it did seem like the effect lasted longer, but not that much longer. And then the box was empty. So sad. But is it really worth $100 a month for a temporary fix?
So, I'm going to give you some advice. Save the $100 a month you could spend on a temporary fix and get a gym membership. And maybe some sessions with a trainer on the side. It may not be glamorous, but neither is going to bed with two giant patches on your backside.
