Review: Fresh Rose Petal Hydrating Face Mask

What They Say: "Rose Face Mask is a rejuvenating mask with hydrating and toning action; rose petals caress and restore the skin. 50% pure rose floral water soothes both skin and senses. Anti-inflammatory cucumber and aloe vera gel cool and refresh. Porphyridium cruentum, the concentrated micro-sea algae first used by Fresh, is proven both to deliver moisture and to be self-adjusting. Suitable for all skin types."

Jen's Experience: I love masks and peels, and a mask that hydrates is clearly a bonus for my dry skin. I expected it to be cool and soothing. Cool, it was, but it was very tingly on my face and neck. Perhaps that was the toning aspect of it. I was a little concerned that it would upset my skin, but instead, I rinsed it off to find my skin a little more hydrated and with much less redness.

The price tag on this mask is a little higher than I would expect, but the good news is that only a very little is needed, so it should last a long time.

Fresh Orange-Chocolate Shea Butter

What They Say: "Fleur de Chocolat Orange-Chocolate Shea Butter is a sensual body moisturizer. It can be used on the face, body, and hair or as a rich lip treatment. Derived from the African shea tree, this 100% natural massage balm provides necessary essential elements for the renewal of skin cells."

Melissa's DeLush Downlow: This may be the first time I've actually been tempted to lick my hands after moisturizing them. This time of year especially, I feel plagued by dry hands constantly. This luscious, smooth formula practically melts when rubbed into your skin and isn't at all greasy. The result is incredibly soft skin. Don't be afraid to use it everywhere else, too. I haven't used it on my hair, but I have used it on my lips (it's got a slight orange-sweet flavor, but not much) and my arms and legs and the comforting softness is a real relief for parched skin.

Retail Price: $38.00 (sephora.com - and you can also get a smaller travel-sized container in-store for $9.00 to try)

Review: Fresh High Noon Freshface Glow

What They Say: "The ultimate liquid bronzer. Illuminates and plumps the skin and camouflages small imperfections as it instantly revives the complexion, delivering a hint of sun-kissed radiance to all skin tones."

Jen's Experience: When I joined Sephora's Beauty Insider program, I got a pretty generous sample of this bronzer. Normally, samples you get for things like this are really phenomenal, but this one just left me confused. For a bronzer, I didn't feel like it delivered a lot of color. I mean, I'm seriously pale, yet a pretty good amount of this produced very little visible result. However, the color I did get looked very natural and really did seem to hide imperfections. I felt like it improved the look of my skin without being too obvious. But when it comes right down to it, I have other bronzers that manage not just to give my skin a definite hint of bronze and manage to look natural while doing it. I just expected more out of this one.

Retail Price: $36.00 (Sephora)
